From Philanthropy to Philanthrocapitalism: Impact Investing with Non-Profits

About this Course

The concept of philanthrocapitalism remains poorly understood. In this course, Antony Bugg-Levine (CEO of the Nonprofit Finance Fund), walks us through how investors can reconcile a for-profit approach with the needs and mission of non-profit organizations. Understanding philanthrocapitalism can be valuable to practitioners who want to invest and develop the communities that need the most support. This course provides an overview of the world of non-profits and how they can be best supported to tackle global issues through an organized and measurable approach. By the end of the course, you will have a better understanding of the intersection of impact investing and non-profit organizations, and how the first can support the latter.
